Dr. Alison Cooper has been practicing Gynecology for 17 years and is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Her undergraduate degree is in biochemestry from the University of Kansas (1992).  She completed her medical residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Truman/St. Luke’s program in Kansas City.  After moving to Arizona in 1996, she practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology until 2001, when she opened A Woman’s Place, specializing in Gynecology only. She has acquired extensive surgical expertise and is also certified in Da Vinci Robotic-assisted Gynecological surgery.

Dr. Susan Stein joined A Woman’s Place in 2008 after completing a Research Fellowship in Gynecology at the Mayo Clinic.  She graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and also from Indiana University with a Master’s degree in Sociology.  Dr. Stein graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2002 and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.  Although she has an extensive research background in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, she specializes in Gynecology only.
